Responsible for leading the Headend technical team including but not limited to, facilities critical infrastructure, analog and digital video equipment, fiber optic equipment, quality control, preventive maintenance, outage resolution and project deployment. Position reports to the Regional Director of Headend Engineering. Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values. Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values. Serve as a liaison to other company departments including but not limited to Backbone Engineering, System Engineering, Purchasing, IT, Sales, Marketing, Media and Business Services Sales, and Programming. Strategically organize, develop and motivate the technical management team and support staff to achieve an effective and progressive resource for the organization. Oversee and manage the implementation of technical department projects such as network modifications, additions, and headend expansions. Act as a troubleshooter in escalated and complex technical operations situations. Develop and control expense and capital budgets for the department. Implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, as necessary.
