The Company offers Optimumbranded digital cable television, high-speed Internet and voice services, as well as Optimum WiFi, the nation’s most robust WiFi network, to residential and business customers across the New York TriState area.





Performs any and all supporting and direct customer contact-related tasks of moderate complexity, in a manner that ensures customer satisfaction and is in compliance with all Cablevision and Optimum Store policies and procedures. Optimum Store Coordinator II must demonstrate mastery of all functions and abilities of an Optimum Store Coordinator I.  




  1. Provides support to Optimum Store Coordinator I employees.
  2. Responsible for accurate payment processing and deposit preparation (including Cash Pull Tickets, Daily Transmittal Forms, Deposit Slips, and Pick Up Logs).
  3. Utilizes the skills in the Connect, Serve, and Sell model to deliver exceptional customer service and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
  4. Communicates customer feedback on current needs and trends to management (i.e. product rollouts, rate increases, etc.).
  5. Utilizes teamwork to achieve goals.
  6. Successfully applies product knowledge with a focus on increasing revenue and retaining customers.
  7. Demonstrates analytical proficiency and diagnostic skills in resolving customer issues on first contact, including exercising empowerment (taking ownership), and appropriate follow-through.
  8. Understands the business and science of operating an Optimum Store and how the departments interact, and the employee’s role in contributing to its success, including:
  • Daily logistic inventory and daily cash reconciliation following proper B&C, banking institution and armored car service procedures
  • Fostering Interdepartmental relationships (i.e., Customer Service, Field Service, Dispatch, Sales, etc.)
  • Fostering an environment continuously conducive to providing Optimum Service
  1. Demonstrates sustained and successful usage of computer applications to effectively and accurately serve the customer, including:
  • Advanced proficiency of PC software applications and terminology
  • On-line tools and resources
  1. Identifies, resolves, and/or refers to the appropriate personnel, customer service related issues that may arise from time to time that otherwise impede providing Optimum Service. This includes, but is not limited to, problems beyond the Optimum Store Coordinator I skill base, and problems that may arise from any and all aspects of the Company’s operations.
  2. Meets Company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis. Performs all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Cablevision policies and procedures in a multi-product environment.
  3. Ensures that all work-related equipment is utilized and maintained in a safe and responsible manner, and ensures that all work-related tasks are performed in a manner that is in compliance with OSHA safety rules and regulations.
  4. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.




Handles all customer inquiries concerning all products and services offered by Cablevision. Adheres to Company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an on-going basis. Performs all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Cablevision and Optimum Store policies and procedures in a multi-product environment.



  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Strong written and oral communications skills
  3. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel applications
  4. Excellent analytical problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  5. Excellent listening skills and patience
  6. Ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
  7. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as required
  8. Must be flexible and adaptable and able to travel to multiple work locations (within 35 miles)
  9. Affinity for identifying and pursuing sales opportunities
  10. Ability to work in a performance-measured environment
  11. Successfully completes certification training for Optimum Store Coordinator I
  12. Proven performance as an Optimum Store Coordinator IAbility to sit/stand for long periods of time
  13. Ability to lift and maneuver converters and equipment, up to 35 pounds
