Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

The Finance Manager will play an integral role in assisting with the management of the fiscal operations and oversees the collections department to ensure the highest levels of productivity and control. Will be involved with business plans development, financial and operations analyses. The Finance Manager will report to the Director of Finance.

ILLUSTRATIVE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  •   Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company  values
  • Compiles critical business information and data from monthly reports, Income Statement, and corporate reports to produce financial and opretional reports; analyzes trends and assists in the development of business strategies that furthers annual and future growth objectives
  • Provides business plan creation and analysis for new business opportunities; provide post analysis to track results of the projects
  • Works with various departments to investigate existing operational procedures to ensure optimal internal controls and efficiencies are achieved.
  • Manages the collections team functions and assures department adherence to all local and corporate policies and procedures related to collection
  • Completes all human resources transactions for subordinates including selection, termination, motivation, training, performance evaluation, discipline and recommendation of pay status changes      
  • Administers coaching and/or required disciplinary action when required and provides development opportunities for direct reports and their teams
  • Develops business studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses.
  • Reviews all system time records to assure compliance to human resources/payroll policies and procedures particularly hourly employees
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of monthly and quarterly metric reporting around financial operations and collections.
  • Provide analysis of monthly financial and operational results
  • Develop and analyze operational trends to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management including executive leadership within and beyond B2B organization

Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Advanced degree encouraged.
  • 4-7 years financial analysis, planning and budgeting experience, required.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required
  • Expert proficiency with MS Excel and MS Powerpoint required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects on concurrent basis by demonstrating ability to delegate and maintain involvement in those projects in order to meet deadlines

 

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

 

  • Minimum 4-7 years business management experience working with income statements, general ledger accounting and financial analysis
  • One to two years of supervisory experience
  • Experience in Telecommunication industry preferred
