Responsibilities

The Manager of Facilities, Construction & Design Manages short and long term facilities management/construction services for Altice USA. This role comprises the management/execution of client programming, client departmental budgeting, overall interior design, architectural CAD drawings, specifications, construction planning, project scheduling, and project management of interior and exterior renovations – including the specification, selection and development of construction, renovations, equipment and furniture specifications, and RFPs for all Corporate Facilities. 

 

In addition, this position is responsible for:

 

 

- Monitoring design and construction activities to maintain our facilities and environment within building and ADA codes, suggesting best practices.

 

- Advising management of potential opportunities that can better service the needs of the Company and its employees. 

- Directing and working with Architects and engineers to develop specifications and construction documents for projects throughout the foot print.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent construction management degree/experience, and comprehensive knowledge of architectural/engineering design, CAD, construction methods, contract furniture and materials, local building code and safety regulations.
  • A minimum of five years project experience within corporate facilities and/or architectural/design firm, experience managing construction, and renovation projects required.
  • Must be able to interface with all levels of Altice management, in addition to architects, engineers, designers, outside vendors, contractors and building department personnel.
  • Must be able to collaboratively team with procurement department personnel to negotiate vendor proposals for purchase of construction services as well as carpet and furniture.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of a corporate organization and have strong communication skills to interface with all levels of management.
