    Responsibilities

    The a4 Media Coordinator will provide critical support to ensure the Strategy, Planning, and Buying teams operate in a highly efficient and effective manner. This primarily includes creative trafficking, campaign scheduling and management, and invoice management and reconciliation.

    This position will operate in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple projects. This role will provide support across the media team and will be assigned projects that will support the department’s priorities. This role provides the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of media planning and buying across all channels and can serve as an entry point into launching a marketing career within the organization. 

    • Manage intake, reporting, and tracking of media invoices to ensure timely payment
    • Work with media team to get approvals and track invoices, serving as the liaison with Business Planning, Accounts Payable, C-Suite support staff, and outside vendors
    • Manage creative trafficking including uploads to FTP site, ensuring written traffic instructions are correct and sent to Agency
    • Assist in Broadcast tracking and optimization including providing inputs to weekly message tracker, updating call curve reports, and executing creative changes in owned media channels
    • Manage print media logistics including calendar management (paper approvals, creative due dates, drop dates), distribution (ensuring proper distribution across zip codes and tracking circulation), and approval process
    • Work with the programmatic buying team in various capacities, including asset confirmation, trafficking and report generation
    • Provide media planning support to the Client Services team through plan research, creation and analysis

     

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) and /or two to three years related experience and/or training; or an Associate's degree with 2 years of media-related experience.
    • Foundational knowledge of the marketing function and a passion for building a marketing career
    • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral and can interact with all levels
    • Extremely organized and detail-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy
    • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize work flow
    • Innate sense of curiosity with a willingness to challenge the status quo
    • “Can do” attitude, demonstrating flexibility to handle multiple tasks and unexpected work while working well under pressure
    • Ability to work effectively to meet time-sensitive deadlines working independently with little to no supervision
    • Highly motivated and willing to take on ad-hoc work
    • Demonstrated team player with excellent organizational skills and ability to anticipate needs
    • Sound judgment and excellent problem-solving skills   
    • Ability to handle information with the utmost confidentiality
    • Expertise with full Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
