Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:

 

Responsible for entering sales called in by the Commercial Sales force in a timely and accurate manner.

 

  • Responsible for possessing a moderate level of understanding of all phases and aspects of the customer IDA and/or Cable Data, including the ability to interpret and explain to the sales force customer current and historical information contained within the system in response to any related inquiries.
  • Responsible for possessing product knowledge of all Residential products and services offered to our customers.
  • Responsible for possessing knowledge of technical components and features of the iO Digital Video, Optimum Online and Optimum Voice services, including basic knowledge of company equipment and customer equipment.
  • Ability to identify, resolve and/or refer to the related issues of moderate complexity that may arise from time to time that otherwise impede the ability to successfully enter a sale including, but not limited to, problems that may arise from any and all aspects of the company’s operations.
  • Responsible for the operation of various equipment and software required to perform customer relations duties and responsibilities, including, office machines to record data, make corrections, or complete required follow-up.
  • Responsible for performing any and all administrative tasks through use of appropriate company documentation relating to all order entry activities by ensuring documentation is completed in a full and accurate manner.
  • Responsible for meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis. Responsible for performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Cablevision policies and procedures.
  • Performs such duties, as the (Order Entry) Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

 

 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
  • Knowledge of PC software: Word, Excel
  • Moderate Computer skills
  • Order Entry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Cable Data and Zoom preferred
