    Responsibilities

    This position is responsible for supervising all labor purchasing activities for all Suddenlink (Altice West) construction build types. The Business Planning Supervisor will be responsible for interfacing with local and remote direct reports in a manner that proactively provides solutions to problems and recognizes the need to improve and streamline existing processes. 


     


    Responsibilities



    • Oversees and supervises all activities related to labor purchasing processes, purchase order initiations, invoice approvals, invoice receipts, invoice related reporting, and investment committee process compliance

    • Supervises day-to-day activity and performance management of business operations coordinators

    • Proactively analyzes all internal processes for optimization and improvement

    • Successfully oversees timely processing of PO requests for construction labor while ensuring appropriate documentation and competitive bid information exists

    • Generates and supervises the distribution of necessary purchase order and labor related reports

    • Partners with business planning and accounting to ensure appropriate standards are applied to invoice uploads and requisitions against an IC

    • Other duties as required by leadership


     


     

    Qualifications



    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science or related field or equivalent work experience required


    • Proficiency with Windows-based computer and applications

    • Strong professional verbal and written communication skills

    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize effectively

    • Ability to supervise and motivate others

    • Strong people and relationship management skills

    • Proven analytical problem solving abilities

    • Five years Technical supervisory experience or equivalent experience required

    • Knowledge of cable television products and services
