    Responsibilities

    A key member of the a4 Sales team, the Sr. Director, i24 News Sales, drives ad sales for i24. This role includes sales of i24 Network inventory to agencies and direct to brands as well as business development for new ad partnerships.  The role is also involved in evaluating and determining pricing guidelines for i24 inventory in order to maximize rates and revenue.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for implementing sales objectives that appropriately meet or exceed revenue goals
    • Engage national planning and buying teams at the lead ad agencies
    • Develop relationships and partners in targeted communities to stimulate an ad business directly from such parties
    • Develop and execute sales strategies
    • Responsible for up-to-date maintenance of Salesforce
    • Ongoing development and implementation of sales systems, accountability standards and best practices.
    • Maintains high level of visibility and professionalism in the community and with clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers to position i24 as the partner of choice.
    • Collaborate with other business leaders within a4 (Traffic, Account Management, Marketing, Finance, Research, Pricing & Planning, HR etc) to identify sales support opportunities and develop strategies to support client retention and revenue optimization

     

    Essential Functions

    • Must be willing to travel across US whenever necessary
    • Must have expert knowledge of Network advertising sales in a leadership role

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related discipline
    • Minimum of 15 years in related (Network or News) advertising sales experience, with a proven successful track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
    • Strong leadership skills with experience leading a large sales organization
    • Expertise within the Network/digital industry
    • Deep knowledge of advertising infrastructure, ad operations, data analytics, yield analysis, advanced Digital media platforms, Interactive Media, DRTV, client & relationship development.
    • Strong strategic, interpersonal, communication, collaboration, presentation and time-management skills and ability to execute initiatives within the team and company as well as customers.
    • Experience conducting high level negotiations with major advertising agencies
    • Experience and ability to develop and implement marketing and sales programs, influence inventory pricing by analyzing sell-out/inventory demand, and analyze competition and market conditions to act accordingly
    • Ability to work in high stress business environment, on multiple projects simultaneously
    • Articulate and persuasive communicator
