    Responsibilities

    The Senior Compensation Analyst adds significant value by providing consultative services to HR Business Partners, HR Generalists, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and management on compensation related matters, policies, practices and/or procedures. The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for managing programs, handling all questions and concerns as well as providing strategic support to leadership staff.

     

    • Providing consultative support to HR business partners, HR generalists and management concerning the interpretation of compensation practices and guidelines.
    • Researching, gathering and analyzing data to find out appropriate salary level and job title for aimed new positions.
    • Evaluating proposed and existing jobs and classifying them in accordance with the levels of importance and responsibility to the Company. Thoroughly analyzing data by interpreting current pay practices, policies and procedures in accordance with federal, state and local regulations and prevailing rates for similar jobs in comparable industries or geographic areas and recommend changes as appropriate; educate management and HR generalists as needed on FLSA compliance.
    • Preparing statistical analysis, data modeling, ad-hoc and costing analyses.
    • Managing job documentation, job descriptions, databases and tables related to job codes, and job families.
    • Participating in salary surveys, interpreting salary data, and performing analysis on salary survey data.
    • Assisting in the execution and administration and providing analytical support for a variety of compensation policies and programs.
    • Providing guidance on issues related to compensation to management.
    • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or finance.
    • 5 years of relevant experience in compensation, and/or human resources field required.
    • Excellent computer skills including Excel spreadsheet proficiency and experience with HRIS systems.
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy, skilled in manipulating data, ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects at once.
    • Ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for identifying solutions.
    • Contributes to team success. Ability to be flexible to new and expanding responsibilities and roles.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to maintain a high degree of sensitivity and exercise discretion in regard to confidential material.
