    Responsibilities

    Job Summary

     

    The Regional Logistics Manager is responsible for all operations in the Logistics Depots and Hubs. The manager will develop schedules and procedures that will service both internal and external customers in a cost-efficient manner.

     

    The Manager will be responsible for inventory accuracy, depot remote replenishment, all shipping and receiving functions (both physical and administrative), and overall operations at the depots and Hub/ DC. The manager will utilize commonly accepted good warehousing practices and warehouse management systems and contribute to implementing cost saving procedures throughout the operation. The Operations Manager will direct the Logistics Supervisor to assure proper and efficient fulfillment of all remote replenishment needs.

     

    Responsibilities

    • The Manager will work closely with all related management teams to fulfill business requirements and contribute to successful implementation of policy and procedures on an ongoing basis.
    • Ensure both serialized and non-serialized materials are correctly forecasted to our suppliers and inventory is issues timely to execute our targeted operational goals  
    • Augment as needed the tasks of the direct team to prevent operational back logs
    • The Manager will work with:
      • The Logistics Director to ensure that all Directives, Goals, Special Projects and Objectives are accomplished in a successful and cost-efficient manner.
      • The Supervisor to ensure that all aspects of the remote Replenishment Operation are successfully supported.
      • Regional and Corporate Management to ensure an accurate inventory and that all Inventory Procedures are properly instituted and effectively executed.
      • WIC management to ensure that customer demand is met especially during periods of promotions and special demands.
      • Area Operations Leaders to ensure that the needs of the technicians are effectively met in a dynamic environment.
      • Construction management team to ensure that all material needs are met.
      • The HR and Safety department to ensure that the staff is well trained, effective and that a positive work environment is developed and maintained leading to fair and appropriate actions if disciplinary matters arise.
      • The Distribution Centers to ensure efficient and seamless service to internal and external customers.
    • And/or other duties assigned by leadership aligned with operational goal achievement

     

    Qualifications

    Qualifications / Requirements

    • Management Skills

     

    • Five years management experience of a substantial work-force: warehouse, inventory management, distribution
    • Demonstrated Leadership ability in a dynamic environment
    • Cross-functional leadership skills: warehousing, inventory management, distribution       
    • Interpersonal Communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and initiate actions in a dynamic environment
    • Ability to assess employee performance against developed Performance Matrix data
    • Ability to develop and implement warehousing and distribution operating procedures
    • A demonstrated knowledge of telecommunications materials and devices
    • Ability to lead and influence team members in a positive and engaging manner
    • Strong ability for self-management of day to day tasking and time scheduling
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with senior management, peers, staff, vendors, and contractors
    • Technical/Functional Competencies

     

    • Fundamental understanding of supply chain and warehouse concepts, processes and drivers.
    • Knowledge of Oracle systems preferred
    • Key Experiences/Achievements

     

    • Five years management experience of a substantial work-force: warehouse, inventory management, distribution
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
    • Minimum three years’ experience in Logistics operations
    • Knowledgeable in both CPE and Material functions
    • Essential Job Functions

     

    • Ability to lift 50lbs on occasion
    • Safe use of ladders
    • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to support regional depots as needed
